    The Institute of Advanced Sciences strives to take modern science beyond the 21st century. It integrates material sciences with society's need for progress in the areas of health, wealth, and environmental harmony

    • External Funding - $435,926.56
    • Submitted 15 grant proposals to various agencies, such as NIH, DOD, and Bial Foundation, Uberoi Foundation, Government of India.
    • Published 15 articles in peer reviewed international journals/books, and 12 popular articles .
    • Published 1 book, Protein Toxins as Model for Biochemistry, Springer.
    • Thirty conference presentations at several national and international symposia and conferences.
    • Twelve poster presentations at various international symposia and conferences.

    Botulinum Research Center

    The national Botulinum Research Center (BRC) is one of the major academic and research units of the Institute of Advanced Sciences (IAS). It was first established in 2003 at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth under the leadership of Dr. Bal Ram Singh, Professor of Biophysical Chemistry at UMass Dartmouth (1990-2015). Since August 2013 BRC moved to the Institute of Advanced Sciences located at 78 Faunce Corner Road, Mall road.
